Outlet Manager – Basilico Restaurant (Italian Restaurant)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

I. Operational and Culinary Excellence

• Lead and meticulously oversee all daily front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service execution, impeccable cleanliness, and efficient guest flow.
• Uphold 100% compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations, ensuring a safe and pristine dining environment.
• Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Culinary Team to maintain the highest standards of authentic Italian cuisine and to strategically refine the menu and beverage offerings.
• Implement rigorous inventory control and cost management protocols (including labor and beverage/food costs) to achieve and surpass budgeted financial targets.

II. Guest Experience and Hospitality Leadership

• Champion a culture of warm, personalized, and proactive service, empowering the team to anticipate and exceed the expectations of a discerning clientele.
• Act as the primary host and brand ambassador, actively engaging with guests, soliciting real-time feedback, and masterfully resolving all service recovery situations.
• Drive guest loyalty by consistently creating an unforgettable, elegant, and welcoming atmosphere that reinforces Basilico's reputation as a premier dining destination.

III. Team Development and Performance

• Recruit, onboard, and continuously mentor a team of passionate hospitality professionals focused on Italian service standards.
• Conduct consistent coaching, structured performance reviews, and targeted development plans to foster individual growth and career progression within the department.
• Inspire a cohesive, professional, and respectful team environment that champions collaboration and high morale.

IV. Financial Strategy and Administration

• Develop, manage, and accurately forecast annual budgets, ensuring strategic allocation of resources.
• Maximize profitability through dynamic pricing, effective scheduling, and the implementation of proactive upselling strategies.
• Ensure the integrity of all administrative functions, including scheduling, reporting, and maintenance of accurate operational records.
  

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field is strongly preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 4+ years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience, including at least 2 years in a dedicated managerial role within a high-volume, upscale, or luxury fine-dining restaurant environment.
• Industry Expertise: Demonstrated deep and verifiable knowledge of authentic Italian cuisine, regional Italian wines (including DOC/DOCG classifications), and impeccable European fine-dining service standards.
• Leadership & Communication: Exceptional and proven leadership skills with the capacity to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team. Superior verbal and written communication skills in English are required; proficiency in Italian or another European language is a significant asset.
• Business Acumen: Track record of success in driving revenue growth, managing P&L statements, and implementing effective cost control strategies (e.g., labor, inventory, and beverage costing) to achieve and surpass budget targets.
