Mechanical Technician

PTSC Offshore Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team. • Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in the oil & gas, marine, or heavy industrial sectors.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Mechanics).
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, valves, gearboxes, and diesel engines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficiency in performing preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of mechanical equipment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures for offshore operations (e.g., BOSIET, HUET, MIST certifications are a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a demanding environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to accurately document work performed.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in an offshore environment, including confined spaces and at heights.
