Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mandarin Translator to join our team at Regent Phu Quoc. The successful candidate will facilitate effective communication between Mandarin-speaking guests and our staff, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

• Translate spoken communication between guests and staff accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with written translations for menus, signs, and other guest materials.
• Provide cultural insights to enhance guest experiences.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure clear communication.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues in Mandarin.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times.
• Support the team with additional administrative tasks as needed.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in translations.

Work Environment: You will work in a vibrant hotel setting, interacting with diverse guests and team members, requiring flexibility and strong interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Language Studies, or a related field.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English; proficiency in Vietnamese is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a translator or interpreter, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer service oriented with a friendly demeanor.
• Knowledge of Chinese culture and customs.
