You’ll provide seamless arrival and departure assistance, handle guest luggage with care, and offer local knowledge that enhances every moment of the guest journey.

Position Summary

The Bellman is responsible for delivering exceptional service at the hotel entrance, assisting guests with their luggage, transportation, and directions, while ensuring a smooth and pleasant arrival and departure experience. You will coordinate closely with Front Office, Concierge, and other departments to ensure every guest feels genuinely welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet all guests with a warm, genuine, and professional attitude.
• Assist with luggage handling, storage, delivery, and retrieval.
• Escort guests to and from rooms, providing information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Ensure efficient and courteous service at the main entrance and lobby areas.
• Arrange and coordinate guest transportation, taxis, or airport transfers when requested.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the lobby and entrance areas.
• Deliver messages, packages, and amenities to guest rooms as needed.
• Handle guest inquiries and collaborate with Concierge and Front Office to ensure quick responses.
• Ensure guest safety and confidentiality at all times.
• Uphold JW Marriott’s service standards and brand values through genuine care and attentiveness.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• Previous experience in Bell Service, Concierge, or Front Office within a hotel environment is an advantage, but not required.

Skills & Attributes:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Physically fit and able to lift or carry luggage safely.
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Positive, energetic, and service-oriented personality.
• Professional grooming and appearance.
