Job Summary

As the Assistant Director of People & Culture, you will be a strategic partner to the leadership team and a guardian of our brand culture. You will drive recruitment, development, engagement and retention initiatives, ensuring our people deliver exceptional experiences aligned to the Regent ethos. You will support the Director of People & Culture in leading a high-performing team and cultivating an inclusive, growth-oriented, and service-driven environment where colleagues thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent across all levels of the resort.
  • Collaborate with department heads to anticipate workforce requirements and ensure staffing readiness.
  • Oversee onboarding programmes to ensure a seamless colleague journey from day one.

Learning & Development

  • Assist in designing and executing training and leadership development programmes that build competencies and career pathways.
  • Monitor and evaluate training outcomes, and align development initiatives with business needs.
  • Support succession planning to build internal talent and potential leaders.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor on colleague relations issues, supporting a positive workplace climate and bridging communication between management and staff.
  • Implement initiatives to boost engagement, satisfaction, and culture alignment.
  • Manage grievance and disciplinary processes in a fair, timely and compliant manner.

Policy, Compliance & Culture

  • Ensure full compliance with local labour laws, company policies, brand standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain HR records, reporting, audits, and well-being & safety programmes.
  • Be ambassador for the Regent / IHG culture, promoting values, vision and service behaviours throughout the organisation.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Supervise and mentor the People & Culture team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
  • Serve as deputy to the Director of People & Culture when required.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement

Yêu cầu công việc

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HR, preferably within luxury hospitality or service-driven environment.
  • Deep knowledge of Vietnamese labour laws, HR best practices and compliance standards.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, with proven ability to build trust and drive HR initiatives.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Vietnamese an advantage.
  • Strategic mindset, high emotional intelligence, and a passion for people development.
